Playing in just his tenth match for the Renegades, Fraser-McGurk timed his jump perfectly to dismiss Strikers’ opener Jake Weatherald.
The hosts would go on to win the match by two runs.

“That’s one of the best catches you’ll ever see,” said Brad Haddin on commentary.
The Renegades were quick to make comparisons to another famous ‘Jumpman’ in Michael Jordan – with Fraser-McGurk also wearing the number 23.
“I saw it went up and just instinctively took the catch,” Fraser-McGurk said afterwards.

It was a first-up with for last year’s wooden spooners, who join both Sydney franchises in the winner’s circle after three games, who beat the Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat.
The Hobart Hurricanes will get their season underway tonight in the first game of the evening against the Sydney Sixers, while Perth Scorchers will play the Heat in their opener afterwards.
