LA Lakers superstar LeBron James appears set for another stint on the sidelines after entering the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
The 36-year-old was officially ruled out today ahead of the Lakers’ clash with Sacramento this afternoon.
James is vaccinated, but It’s unclear at this stage whether he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Under the NBA’s strict health and safety protocols, James will have to miss at least the next 10 days and return two negative PCR tests before he can return to the court and link up with his teammates.

James last week missed one game due to suspension following an altercation with Detroit’s Isaiah Stewart.
He was also fined $21,000 last week for an “obscene gesture” by the NBA.
The four-time champion also missed several games earlier this month due to an abdominal strain.
The Lakers so far have played 22 games this season and James has featured in just 11 of them.
