Australia’s Adam Zampa has fired off a cheeky shot to former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan.
The spinner enjoyed a starring T20 World Cup campaign, in which he topped Australia’s bowlers in wickets taken during the tournament with 13.
Zampa also claimed the key wicket of Black Caps superstar Martin Guptill as Australia claimed its maiden men’s T20 World Cup title yesterday.

But before the tournament had even started, Vaughan was one of Australia’s biggest critics by saying he didn’t believe they had much hope of winning the World Cup.

“I’ll say it now, I don’t give Australia much chance,” Vaughan said.
“In T20 cricket they’ve struggled. Glenn Maxwell’s exceptional so he will have to have an incredible tournament. But I don’t see the Aussies doing too much.
“England, India, West Indies, New Zealand, one of those four and maybe Pakistan because of the conditions.”

Zampa took that quote to Instagram last night and rubbed it into the former England skipper, as the Australians celebrated the title.
Zampa’s teammate Glenn Glenn Maxwell joined in on the fun, commenting a simple, “lol”.
