Poland tennis star Hubert Hurkacz has been involved in an embarrassing gaffe during his Dubai Tennis Championships clash.
Playing in the quarter-final against Ugo Humbert, Hurkacz attempted to return the ball low to his right and close to the net.
The world No.8 sprinted to the ball and couldn’t stop himself after his return went long, stumbling into the bench and falling over the top of it.

The 27-year-old gave a thumbs up straight away and embraced Humbert once he was on his feet.
Hurkacz wasn’t injured from the incident but did go on to lose the match with Humbert claiming victory in a tight three-setter, 3-6, 7-6(8), 6-3.
Australian Christopher O’Connell was beaten by Hurkacz 7-6(5), 6-4 in the round of 16 match before the quarter-final.
Humbert will face Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals of the Championships with Alexander Bublik and Andrey Rublev facing off in the other match.
