Superstar A-League recruit Daniel Sturridge has questioned the reasoning behind his state-enforced quarantine period in Perth.
The former Chelsea and Liverpool striker was last month unveiled by Perth Glory as the club’s marquee signing for the upcoming season.
The 32-year-old joins the competition having won both UEFA Champions League and Premier League.
But before Sturridge can start training with his new teammates, he must complete his mandatory quarantine period.
He took to Twitter today to voice his frustrations at the policy.
“Still can’t get my head around why I have to quarantine for 15 days when I’m Covid free and vaccinated,” Sturridge wrote on Twitter.

“I’ve literally been in my room for a week so far and took two Covid tests.
“I have antibodies. Rules are rules but I can’t make sense of this. See you in eight days.”
