Australian boxer Brock Jarvis added to his unbeaten record today after mounting a stunning fightback to earn a TKO victory over Mexico’s Alejandro Frias.
The 23-year-old Sydney native, who is trained by Australian great Jeff Fenech, made his US debut where he was the red hot favourite against his opponent.
But during the second round, things took a turn for the worse for Jarvis, who was sent reeling into the ropes after taking on a bunch of heavy counter shots.

“Jarvis up against the ropes. This is a disaster for the Australian, he’s got to get out of,” Todd Grisham said in commentary at the time.
“What an upset this would be. Jarvis has never been in this kind of trouble before. This is incredible. They didn’t even list odds for this fight in Las Vegas.”
Fortunately for the Australian, he regained control of the bout in the third and fourth rounds before the referee ended it in the fifth at the 2:04 mark.
Jarvis’ professional record improves to 20-0 (18KOs).
