It appears Jason Kokrak could be the next PGA Tour player to defect to Greg Norman’s LIV Golf Series after performing a bizarre walk-off at the Travelers Championship on Saturday.
Kokrak had shot 67 in the first round at TPC River Highlands but was four over in the second following his second double bogey.
The American teed off on his final hole, hitting the shot 327 yards on the dogleg right par 4 into the left rough, leaving only 43 yards left to travel.

But in one of the most extraordinary blow-ups perhaps ever seen, the three-time Tour winner then proceeded to blast the shot over the green and across a road. Or as ShotLink put it, “87 yards into the unknown.”
He then walked off the grounds and disappeared into the player parking lot before getting into his car and leaving, possibly heading in the direction of the Saudi-funded rebel league.

PGA communications later announced Kokrak had been disqualified for failing to record a score and subsequently failing to return a scorecard.
Kokrak’s behaviour has been met with mixed reactions as the golf community wrestles with the 37-year-old’s farewell to the competition which housed him for 11 seasons.
