Jake Paul is set to make his return to the ring on August 13 – but the YouTube performer is yet to announce his next opponent.
During an interview in April, Paul even mentioned Sonny Bill Williams on a short-list of possible opponents that included UFC greats Michael Bisping and Anderson Silva.
But according to rival promoter Eddie Hearn, who worked with Paul in a co-promotional capacity on the recent landmark women’s bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano at Madison Square Garden, the 5-0 fighter has already made up his mind.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Hearn said Paul will take on Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy, eight months after their December bout was called off.
“I don’t represent them, but I hear that fight [Paul vs Fury] is happening August 13, so you might see it,” Hearn said.
“Both are very limited, but as long as it’s a competitive fight, it doesn’t really matter.
“Jake Paul is a strange one, but I like what he’s doing for boxing.
“I did Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor with him and it was great fun, it was a big success.
“He’s putting the work in and he’s not terrible.
“But it’ll be a pleasant day when someone chins him.”
Neither Paul, Fury, nor their respective teams have announced the event officially.
The two were previously scheduled to fight, but Fury withdrew from the bout due to a combination of illness and injury.
Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer is currently undefeated after cherry-picking his opponents to begin his career, but is yet to take on a renowned boxer, with his victories coming against a fellow YouTuber, a former NBA player and two MMA fighters well past their prime.
Paul sparked a public feud with former UFC champion Michael Bisping, leading to speculation that the former middleweight champion was under consideration.
Fury was a cast member on the reality show Love Island before turning his full attention to boxing, following in the footsteps of his half-brother, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
