There’s been a fresh twist in the ongoing public stoush between Heritier Lumumba and his former AFL club, Collingwood.
Lumumba took to Twitter on Tuesday to leak audio recordings, allegedly of private conversations between he and former Magpies coach Nathan Buckley.
Lumumba has accused Collingwood of racism and other inappropriate behaviour he witnessed during his time at the club.

Earlier this week, a document was leaked which detailed Lumumba’s claims, including being nicknamed ‘Chimp’ by his coaches and teammates, and alleging one of Buckley’s assistants displayed a pornographic image during a team meeting.
He has also levelled claims directly against former Magpies president Eddie McGuire and CEO Gary Pert.
In response to that document, Buckley told SEN radio “my conscience is clear” and claimed that “it seems that Heritier doesn’t really want to move forward”.
A day later, Lumumba tweeted a response to Buckley.
“I’ve given Nathan Buckley many years to grow and hopefully tell the truth,” he said.
“Unfortunately, he has used his platform and considerable profile to discredit me, including making insinuations about my mental health and being deliberately misleading about the past.”

In a long thread of tweets, Lumumba posted two recordings of a meeting between himself and Buckley that he says was taken in 2014.
The audio centres on Lumumba talking about then-president McGuire, and Buckley telling the player he had “gone rogue” and “thrown (McGuire) under the bus”.
In response to the audio tweets, Buckley responded.
“I offer you the opportunity to put a full and uncut version of our conversations on the public record so as to provide context to our conversations and the support that was provided to you above and beyond that which could be reasonably expected in the circumstances,” Buckley said.
