Manly appears to have dodged a number of huge injury bullets, with the club not concerned any of Taniela Paseka, Dylan Walker and Andrew Davey will be sidelined for a lengthy period.
After falling in a 0-32 hole at half-time, the Sea Eagles launched a spirited second half comeback before ultimately going down 22-32 to the Cronulla Sharks, and copped a trio of ugly looking injuries in the process.
Despite fears that Walker had hurt his left knee after landing awkwardly in a tackle, Manly coach Des Hasler said the 27-year-old had injured the left quad he had heavily strapped coming into the match.

Just minutes after Walker limped off the field, Paseka was helped off the field after hurting his knee in a tackle.
Despite fears that the 24-year-old could be sidelined for an extended period, the club is confident he has avoided a serious injury.
“He was quite heavily strapped with ice at the end of the game,” Nine reporter Danika Mason said after the match.
“There were fears that it could be an MCL, so he’ll have to be assessed just to determine the full extent of his injury. They’re not too concerned though, they don’t think it’s anything like an ACL to be season-ending.”
Davey was the last of the trio to suffer an injury blow, after hurting his right shoulder upon landing after he took a tumble while chasing a Daly Cherry-Evans grubber kick.
Following the match, Hasler confirmed that Davey had suffered an injury to the AC joint in his right shoulder, but said the 30-year-old remained a chance to play next week.
“Those three would be doubtful, but we’ve got the long turnaround,” Hasler said of the trio’s injuries.
“Andrew might be a chance, but the other two definitely won’t take the field.”
Manly has an eight-day break before its next match, a round eight clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs next Friday.
