Stan has secured the world’s most anticipated boxing fight with the exclusive Australian broadcast rights to the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte April 24 blockbuster at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.
The WBC heavyweight championship fight will be available to purchase on Stan Event pay-per-view following the streaming platform’s Sonny Bill Williams vs Barry Hall debut last month.
‘Gypsy King’ Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) will fight on home soil for the first time in almost four years to defend his world title in front of an expected record-breaking sporting crowd at Wembley.
Tyson Fury v Dillian Whyte on Sunday 24 April will be live and ad-free only on Stan Event, and can be purchased by Stan customers from Thursday 9am AEST for $60. Ring walks for the main event are expected no earlier than 7am AEST.
Whyte (30-2, 19 KOs), meanwhile, gets the title shot he has waited years to secure.
“Stan Event is only weeks old, and already we’re showcasing some of the world’s biggest global boxing events, the highly anticipated world heavyweight title bout between two superstars,” Stan’s director of sport Ben Kimber said.
“Fury vs Whyte is not just one of 2022’s biggest sporting events, with Fury in the ring it will be entertainment from start to finish.

“Stan Event is incredibly proud to follow up our debut fight between Sonny Bill Williams and Barry Hall with another superb boxing event.

Promoter Frank Warren said 94,000 fans were expected to pack into Wembley for the battle of Britain.
“I’m delighted to be working with Stan Event to deliver the biggest fight of the year to boxing fans in Australia,” Warren said.
“Tyson is now the leading star in world boxing and this is set to be a huge occasion.”
The six-bout undercard will be headlined by a return to the ring of British junior lightweight champion Anthony ‘The Apache’ Cacace (19-1, 7 KOs), who is stepping up in weight class to take on Colombian native Jonathan Romero (34-1, 19 KOs) over 10 rounds for the vacant WBO International title.
In a 12 round domestic duel where fireworks are guaranteed, the vacant WBC silver featherweight title will be on the line when Isaac Lowe (23-1-3, 6 KOs) takes on undefeated Liverpool native Nick Ball (14-0, 7 KOs).
Young heavyweight star David Adeleye (8-0, 7 KOs) will clock up his ninth fight and second eight rounder as a professional against Chris Healey as he closes in on title contention.
And the unbeaten Tommy Fury (7-0, 4 KOs), Tyson’s brother, will continue his light heavyweight journey over six rounds with a fight against Polish veteran Daniel Bocianski (10-1, 2 KOs).
