Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire claims he laughed off reports of a rift with club legend Robbie Farah.
On Sunday it was reported Farah – who now works as a trainer at the club – aimed foul-mouthed abuse at the team’s coaches box during a tight loss to the Warriors.
Farah denied he was yelling at Maguire, and the coach has now been asked about the incident.

“I laughed, I literally laughed when I heard that,” Maguire told media ahead of their round four trip to the Gold Coast.
“We’re in the entertainment business, so people can look at that in their own light.
“We know internally what we’re working towards, Robbie’s very passionate about who we are.
“He’s been a really good force behind what we’re trying to achieve.”
The Tigers are yet to win a game from three attempts this season.
Last year they finished 13th on the ladder but were undoubtedly one of the worst teams in the competition, and they haven’t played finals in a decade.
The team has slipped backwards on the table in the three years since Maguire took the reins, and ne narrowly avoided being sacked at the end of last season.
But the coach says he pays no attention to critics, who are once again calling for his head.
“I’m that busy coaching my team I don’t spend too much time worrying about the external world and I’ve got a great family to go home to and that’s what really matters the most,” he said.
“We were pretty close in two of three games; (if) a few things go our way, which we need to create, then all of a sudden we’re talking about something different.
“We’re actually not that far away from where we need to be.”
The Tigers play the Titans on Thursday night.
