A four-year feud between Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting and Pakistan bowler Sohail Tanvir has boiled over during a Pakistan Super League match in Lahore.
In 2018 Tanvir showed Cutting the middle finger while the pair were playing in the Caribbean Premier League.
Clearly Cutting hadn’t forgotten, with the pair clashing again overnight.

Playing for Peshawar against Quetta, Cutting launched Tanvir for three consecutive sixes in the 19th over, before raising both middle fingers in the direction of the bowler.
The pair then exchanged words mid-pitch.
After Cutting dispatched the fifth ball of the over for yet another six, the pair again confronted each other, with the umpire forced to intervene to separate the pair as tempers flared.
The Australian was dismissed from the first ball of the next over, with Tanvir taking a catch at short third man, after which he raised both middle fingers in the direction of Cutting.
“I don’t think we need any of that,” said former England player Nick Knight in commentary.
Cutting’s 36 off 14 balls helped Peshawar to a total of 7-185, while Tanvir finished with figures of 0-50 off his four overs, having conceded 27 off his final over alone. In reply Quetta could only manage 8-161.
