Stan’s new AFL documentary will lift the lid on the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing of the trade period and the colourful cast of player agents that shape it.
The Jerry Maguire-inspired Show Me The Money is a three-part series that grants unprecedented access into AFL clubs, star players and their agents.
Filmed in October last year and premiering on March 10, the series features some of the AFL’s most influential and ruthless agents including Paul Connors, Alex McDonald, Ben Williams and Colin Young, who between them manage stars Patrick Dangerfield, Scott Pendlebury, Jeremy Cameron, Christian Petracca and Ollie Wines.

“Show Me the Money will take footy fans on a rollercoaster ride behind the scenes of the AFL trade period,” Stan’s chief content officer Cailah Scobie said.
“Highlighting the breadth of our Stan Originals slate as part of our continued ramp up of original content, this blockbuster documentary series will feature a who’s who of AFL superstars and explore the high stakes world of player agents and club managers.

Jam TV are the creators of the warts and all AFL series Making Their Mark which aired last year.
“The trade period is one of the most fascinating aspects of AFL football – and for the first time, the backroom deal making will be given the true sports documentary series treatment,” Jam TV’s chief executive Cos Cardone said.
“The repercussions and ramifications always make for compelling storylines that we know will fascinate viewers.”
