Former Bulldogs, Panthers and Kiwi Test star Frank Pritchard is in hospital on New Year’s Eve fighting for his life.
One of the game’s most damaging ball runners in the 2000s, the man known as “Frank The Tank”, is on life support as a result of complications from COVID-19.
It is believed he has a collapsed lung and other major health issues as a result of the virus.

The 38-year-old Pritchard was born in Sydney to Samoan and Kiwi parents.
He played more than 100 games for both the Panthers and Bulldogs as well as stints with Hull FC in England and Parramatta.
He played 27 Tests for New Zealand and eight for Samoa before retiring at the end of 2017.
