Warriors icon Shaun Johnson has barked back at “savage” social media trolls in the wake of his injury-riddled start to the NRL season.
The star halfback recently returned from a four-week pectoral injury lay-off and will now spend another four weeks on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.
Johnson is in the twilight of his career and injury woes have cast doubt over his playing future, leading some social media commenters to call for his retirement.
