Canterbury football boss Phil Gould has been spotted dining with on-the-market NRL coach Michael Maguire.
Nine’s Danny Weidler revealed Gould and Maguire had breakfast together at a Belmore cafe on Thursday morning.
The sighting comes one week after Bulldogs heavies were spotted meeting with Cameron Ciraldo – the Penrith assistant coach who has been courted by several rival clubs.

Maguire was sacked by Wests Tigers soon after that. He coached South Sydney to the 2014 NRL premiership and is highly regarded as a head coach.
Gould has been tight-lipped publicly as to any targets to fill the head coach role.
