England villain Jonny Hill has escaped a citing as Wallabies rival Darcy Swain prepares to face the music at the judiciary on Tuesday night.
Swain was sent off for headbutting Hill in Australia’s thrilling 30-28 win in Saturday’s Test series opener at Perth’s Optus Stadium.
The fireworks came after Hill pulled Swain’s hair and, in an earlier off the ball incident, forcefully shoved two hands into Swain’s face.

Hill’s antics prompted Nine and Stan Sport’s Justin Harrison to quip that he “better keep his suit fresh for maybe a judicial hearing.”
But only Swain’s name appeared on World Rugby’s rap sheet on Monday.
Swain will attend a hearing on Tuesday via video link before an independent judicial committee chaired by Shao-Ing Wang and including former players Chris Smith and Stefan Terblanche.

“Obviously we will have a decent look at the footage and work out how we are going to appeal that,” Wallabies coach Dave Rennie said after the famous win.
“If it’s a headbutt, it is clearly a red card. I am not sure his intent was to headbutt him. But we will look at the footage and get clarity on whether we think there is an avenue to challenge.”
England coach Eddie Jones denied that Hill deliberately baited Swain.
“Not to my knowledge,” Jones said.
“It was just one of those things mate, where two bulls go at each other and they get a bit carried away. That’s what happened. I thought it was a good natured game for Australia and England, it was played in a good spirit.”
Matt Philip will almost certainly replace Swain in the second Test at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, if he is indeed suspended.

Nick Frost and Ned Hanigan are the other second row options in the squad.
The Wallabies are hoping Taniela Tupou (calf) will be available after missing the first Test while Quade Cooper (calf) and Allan Alaalatoa (HIA) are under selection clouds.
The Wallabies will wear their First Nations jersies and sing the national anthem in the Yugambeh language as a tribute to ‘Uncle’ Lloyd McDermott on Saturday.

The first Wallaby to identify as a First Nations man, McDermott famously made a principled decision to withdraw from the team rather than play as an honorary white in the South African tour during apartheid.
“As a team, we’re extremely proud to be able to celebrate NAIDOC week by wearing our First Nations jersey and singing in Uncle’s language on Saturday night in Brisbane,” Rennie said.
“We put a lot of time into understanding who we play for and who we represent and the privilege to play for Australia isn’t lost on us.”
