In revealing who his roommate has been in the Wallabies‘ Gold Coast training camp, scrum-half Nic White may have indicated who will be playing alongside him in the No.10 jersey against England on Saturday.
Appearing on Nine’s Sports Sunday, White was asked who he was rooming with, as the fly and scrum-halves often room together due to their close on-field relationship.
White chuckled, but revealed he was sharing with James O’Connor.

“Read into that what you will,” he said.
“Look we’ve trained in all different combinations this week. They always keep you on your toes, we do a lot of clarity sessions, a lot of walk throughs, a lot of training sessions and the team gets changed up every couple of minutes so you can’t read into that too much.

Who plays at fly-half is one of a stack of headaches facing selectors ahead of the first Test, to be held in Perth.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Taniela Tupou looks set to miss the test as he continues to battle a calf injury that ruled him out of the back end of the Super Rugby season.
It’s a big blow for the Wallabies and Rugby Australia, who were hoping for a late spike in ticket sales to help boost an expected crowd of 45,000 at Optus Stadium.
Tupou is the most marketable character in Australian rugby as well as a devastating weapon on the field.
Harry Johnson-Holmes has also left camp with an injury to his Achilles tendon, and Waratahs forward Jed Holloway might have to wait a little longer to make his debut having picked up a calf injury. Jonny May is also in doubt having contracted COVID-19.
A spokesperson said Holloway picked up a “niggle” during the Wallabies’ camp on the Sunshine Coast and was “unlikely” to be available for the series opener at Optus Stadium.
Fellow Waratahs forward Ned Hanigan has been drafted into the Wallabies squad as cover. May will get out of COVID-19 isolation on Thursday.
