A ruthless Nikita Tszyu has admitted that seeing opponents bleed gives him joy after brutalising his opponent Mason Smith in a first-round TKO win.
Tszyu wasted little time getting on the front foot against the previously-undefeated Smith, before the referee was forced to step in and call the fight after just two and a half minutes.
There was a brutal shot that sent Smith to the canvas after a minute, and although he was initially allowed to continue, the referee stepped in after another 90 seconds of ferocity from Tszyu.

It was a frightening showing which was described as “explosive” and “dominant” from Main Event’s Ben Damon on commentary.
Following his win, 27-year-old was asked if he enjoyed the fight and offered a simply chilling response.
“It’s the blood that gets to me. Seeing the brutality,” Tszyu said.
“That’s what I love, seeing that blood. That bloody nose … the joy I cop from that.”
Damon, who was interviewing Tszyu, could only smile, and replied saying, “you’re not quite right, Nikita Tszyu”.
Tszyu was asked to rate his victory, and he gave it a six out of 10.
His older brother, Tim Tszyu, was much more impressed.
“He just knocked the guy out … 10,” Tim said.
“I told ya, I told everyone. Wait until he starts knocking everyone out now.”
