Cronulla has been forced to move one of the recruits of the season, Nicho Hynes, as the extent of a backline crisis is laid bare.
Hynes has been monumental in making the Sharks a genuine premiership contender this season, having jumped ship from Melbourne and moved to the Shire.
But he will move from the halves to play fullback against the Raiders on Sunday for Magic Round.

The switch is far from ideal for rookie coach Craig Fitzgibbon, but he was left with little other option following the two-week suspension handed to Will Kennedy for his coat-hanger tackle on Reece Walsh in round nine.
The Sharks also lost Jesse Ramien for three weeks for a high tackle in the same game, leaving their backline stocks thin.
Hynes played fullback for the Storm last year and is equally adept in the No.1 position. Braydon Trindall is recalled to play in the halves alongside Matt Moylan.
