F1 commentator Martin Brundle was at it again.
Following his memorable interview with rapper Megan Thee Stallion at the US Grand Prix last October, the Sky Sports pundit didn’t let fans down at the Miami Grand Prix this morning (AEST).
Amid the chaos of the Miami race grid, Brundle tried to find Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes before the race started.

He thought he spotted him and yelled, “Patrick” and went over to talk to the Super Bowl winning quarterback.
During the interview, Brundle realised he wasn’t speaking to the NFL star after all, instead College basketball player Paolo Banchero.
At the end of the chat, Brundle turned to the camera while standing beside Banchero and said: “It’s not Patrick, that’s why he ignored me.
“What is your name, sir?” he then asked, adding: “Well I thought I was talking to somebody else, I’m sorry about that.”
Banchero might not be a household name now but that could change quickly for the 19-year-old as he’s projected to be a top three pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

Another hilarious moment saw Brundle miss NBA legend Dwyane Wade, who was standing nearby, before saying: “Let’s see if we can find anyone to talk to”.
The Williams sisters also appeared on camera with the F1 commentator.
Serena has escaped Brundle’s requests for interviews on the grid recently, including last year at the US Grand Prix in Texas.
She hid behind her sister when he approached this time.

“Serena what do you think about having this event in Miami,” he said before Venus fielded the question.
“We love having Lewis (Hamilton) and all the drivers in Miami, we’re wishing them luck. It’s the first time they’ve been here”.
At that point she thought the interview was over and waved at somebody in the distance and she appeared to miss another question.
“Oh, what’s the question,” she asked.
“No, it doesn’t really matter. It’s nice to talk to you actually,” he said.
As she walked away, Brundle told the audience: “Well that was a nice surprise, I normally get a very cold shoulder”.
Brundle also spoke with music producer DJ Khaled and singer Pharrell Williams as well as landing David Beckham after two failed attempts.
