Daniel Faalele has become Australia’s latest NFL recruit with the offensive lineman selected in the fourth round by the Baltimore Ravens.
Faalele, 22, is the biggest offensive tackle in the 2022 NFL draft and was selected with the No.110 overall pick.
Coming out of the University of Minnesota, Faalele, who wears size 18 shoes and XXXXXXXXL shirts, enters the NFL standing at 206 centimetres tall and weighing 174kg.

“When I took my 30 visit to the Ravens I had a really good feeling,” Faalele said moments after being drafted.
“Coach ‘D’ (Joe D’Alessandris) is an awesome coach. We had a great meeting. He talked about how he’s coached Orlando Brown Jr and stuff before.
“He just gave me that confidence. I know I’m in good hands. I had a good feeling there that we would be a good fit, and I’m just happy that everything worked out.”
Faalele said his best attributes are his athleticism for his size and “just how strong I am. Being a bigger body, I have longer arms. So, just using those intangibles to my advantage.”
“The biggest challenge is always pad level. I can always get lower.
“The main thing they were talking about is pad level, and just taking better angles to the second level,” he said.

Scouts say Faalele might have enormous upside because he’s still so raw.
“I feel like the sky’s the limit for me,” Faalele suggested. “I just need more coaching and I feel like going to the next level I’m excited to see how far I can go.”
