Australia’s batting crumbled in the early stages of the third one-day international against Pakistan in Lahore.
After being sent in to bat by Pakistan captain Babar Azam, opening batters Travis Head and Aaron Finch were both dismissed without scoring.
Head’s dismissal was the worst possible start to the match for the visitors, coming off the very first ball.

Finch fell to the third ball of the second over, leaving Australia 2-0.
That became 3-6 when Marnus Labuschagne departed for 4.
Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Head, while opening partner Haris Rauf took the wickets of Finch and Labuschagne.

It’s just the second time in one-day international history that both Australian openers have been dismissed without scoring.
The only previous instance came in 2006 against South Africa in Brisbane, when both Adam Gilchrist and Simon Katich were dismissed without scoring.
Finch’s second straight duck means he finishes with just 23 runs from the three matches.
