Cronulla‘s match-winning hero Teig Wilton looks set to miss next weekend’s fixture after being hit with a one-game ban by the NRL match review committee.
The backrower was placed on report midway through the second half when he tackled Mitchell Moses after the Eels halfback had kicked the ball.
Moses was incensed by the contact, as well as other incidents during the game.

“They’ve been targeting Moses and this time Wilton gets his timing wrong,” Dan Ginnane said on the broadcast.
“That was ugly. Thankfully no one hurt.”
Wilton can accept a one-game ban, or risk a two-game ban if he fights it at the judiciary and loses.
It was far from Wilton’s biggest moment of the game, however.

The 22-year-old burst onto a Matt Moylan short ball and crashed over for a try while Nicho Hynes added the extras, giving the Sharks their first win of the season.
Cronulla have a short turnaround after the victory, as they face the Dragons on Thursday night.
Both Ray Stone and Tom Gilbert will escape with fines after charges for dangerous contact and a crusher tackle, respectively.
