Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson has defeated fellow strongman Eddie Hall by unanimous decision in their boxing match in Dubai.
Dubbed ‘The Heaviest Boxing Match in History’, the pair’s combined weight of nearly 300kg shook the ring as they traded heavy blows throughout.
“It was a hell of fight,” Bjornsson said afterwards.

“I got some heavy shots, he hits hard, let’s be honest,” he said.
Bjornsson dropped Hall twice in the fight, while also getting sent to the canvas once himself.
“I understood his game plan; that was to take me down. I needed to keep my left hand up, be careful of his right hook, and I did that,” he said.
“Once I understood my distance, his game plan was my game plan.”
The Icelandic giant, who played ‘The Mountain’ Gregor Clegane on the hit HBO show, said his forays into boxing would continue.
“I’m loving this journey,” he said.
“I’m still a beginner… who knows where I’ll be a year from now?
“The only thing stopping you is your mind, and I believe in myself.”
