The Titans were unlucky not to get away with a huge upset victory over the Eels in Round 1 and Immortal Andrew Johns has seen enough from them in attack to suggest they could be a nightmare match-up every week.
Which is why he’s licking his lips at the prospect of the “freewheeling” Gold Coast machine up against a Warriors side that has plenty of tryscoring ability of their own.
Even without two of their most potent attacking players, injured duo Shaun Johnson (pec strain) and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (broken thumb), the Warriors look dangerous with the addition of Reece Walsh, who is back in the side after a suspension, and Ashley Taylor who will make his debut for the Warriors against his old side.

“The freewheeling attacking Titans up against the Warriors,” Johns told Wide World of Sports Freddy & Joey’s Tips, “this could be 100 points scored”.
“I liked watching the Titans last week,” Brad Fittler replied.
“I like the Titans, geeze their good to watch,” Johns added. “Good to watch. Good to watch in the day. Plenty of ball movement. Fast, they play fast.”

That speed and attacking threat put them within striking distance of victory over the Eels as the clock wound down at Bankwest Stadium but two late penalty goals to Mitchell Moses saved the home team, much to the disappointment of Titans coach Justin Holbrook who claimed his side never gets the rub of the green from officials.
“Definitely [it was a bitter pill to swallow],” Holbrook told reporters after the match.
“I’m not here to take anything away from Parramatta, good luck to them, but it’s about us as a club not being one of the big clubs and not getting anything [from the referees].
“If they’re 50-50 [decisions], make them 50-50. Give us a couple, give them a couple and we’re happy.
“I’m not asking for 7-1 [penalty count] and 3-0 in the captain’s challenge.
“You’re better off getting me to talk about the first half and then the officials to do the second half, rather than asking me 10 minutes after the game.
“We had a great opportunity taken away from us to win a game of footy. I don’t know if we were good enough or not, I’m not here to take anything away from Parramatta.
“Defensively we struggled in the first half, but we fought our way back.”
