Dragons prop Elsie Albert “shook the foundations” of CommBank Stadium with a monster hit to flatten Brisbane star Lauren Brown.
Their NRLW clash was only one minute old when Broncos hooker Brown ran the ball from dummy-half, and decided to take on the St George Illawarra enforcer.
Albert obliged, and the Papua New Guinea international picked Brown up and drove her into the Parramatta turf.

“Woah… she won’t be running at Elsie Albert any time soon. What a hit,” commentator Peter Psaltis said.
“That shook the foundations of the stadium.”
NRLW great Ruan Sims was sitting in the commentary box and said, “we felt it up here”.
NRL legend Paul Gallen – who was known as one of the toughest rugby league players of his generation to pull on a jersey – was mightily impressed by Albert’s shot.

“What a tackle. That’s a fair hit isn’t it,” Gallen said.
“That’s what you want from a forward.”
Brown courageously dusted herself off and carried on with the game.
Albert later scored a try, barging her way over the Broncos defence, but couldn’t drag her team to victory as the Broncos won 22-18.
