It’s not very often in footy that you get to run out alongside your partner, but tomorrow, Titans’ captain and 2018 Dally M medallist Brittany Breayley-Nati will line up alongside her wife, Kimiora Breayley-Nati.
The couple – who have two children together – form the Gold Coast’s halfback and dummy-half pairing.
Speaking on Wide World of Sports’ NRLWrap, former Jillaroos star Allana Ferguson said the couple’s marital relationship could benefit the NRLW expansion side.

“It’s great for the team because being one of those newly formed teams, combinations are really going to be key, so to be able to have the privilege of saying that you’re (No.) 7 and 9 are actually married, and you know that combination already in itself is really special,” Ferguson said.
“That’ll go a long way in how they actually play on the footy field, how they communicate, and [is] just so key for that spine to be functioning as well.”
Adding to the Titans’ depth of talent, women’s league great Ruan Sims said: “I think it shows how strong this team is when you’ve got a player like Georgia Hale wearing the No.14 jersey, that’s how strong they have recruited.
“Jamie Feeney, as the coach, knows how to spot talent and he knows how to bring them through so they are going to be very tough.”
The Gold Coast Titans face the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium in the midday (AEDT) game that kicks off the Round 1 double header.
