German superstar Alexander Zverev had the crowd at Rod Laver Arena in stitches following his straight-sets win over Australian John Millman.
Zverev, the world No.3, was joined by Australian wheelchair tennis legend and Nine host Dylan Alcott for his on-court interview where the topics discussed had the German showing his humorous side.
The 24-year-old spent much of his time on the court last year with a tank top style shirt before switching to the short sleeves for Australia’s summer of tennis.
Alcott queried Zverev on his change of clothing.

“For the last 18 months, you have been wearing the tank top. Getting the guns out. What happened? I was a big fan,” Alcott said on Nine’s Wide World of Sports.
With a smile on his face and a cheeky roll of the sleeves, Zverev joked that his guns were too much for his rivals on the tour.
“In the locker room, I have been told my arms are so strong that it’s too intimidating for the opponents,” Zverev said.

“I thought, ‘I will stay without it for now’. But it’s definitely not retired.
“It will come out. Maybe for the French Open because that’s where the physical starts.”
Alcott replied: “Mate, I like it. Bit of advice: skip leg day. Overrated”.
Another moment that also left fans in stitches was when Alcott questioned Zverev on where he kept his Olympic gold medal, which he won in Tokyo last year.
According to the German, brother and fellow tennis player Mischa Zverev has taken ownership of it.
“Actually a good question because my brother took it for a media appearance once,” he revealed.
“He’s gone. He didn’t give it back to me. I don’t know where it is. It’s been five months.
“Hopefully he hasn’t sold it on eBay.
“A gold medal is something that I think every athlete dreams about.
“Doesn’t matter what sport. Doesn’t matter what background you are coming from. A gold medal is something special.
“There is nothing in the world that compares with it.”
Zverev advanced to the third round of the Australian Open in defeating Millman 6-4 6-4 6-0.
Zverev was tested early in the match by the Australian.
After Zverev broke Millman early in the opening set and the Australian responded immediately with a break of his own, before the Tokyo gold medallist claimed another big break point.
Zverev clinched the opening set despite making 15 unforced errors.
The second set again saw the world No.3 break early, and from there it was a fairly comfortable win in the end.
Millman in the third set struggled to find any answers to combat the German superstar.
