British tennis champion Andy Murray has split with coach Jamie Delgado as he looks to reignite his great but fading career.
Delgado began coaching the three-time major winner during the 2016 season, which saw him win a second Wimbledon title and finish the year as world No.1.
Delgado, 44 and a former British Davis Cup player, transitioned from Murray’s part-time to full-time coach when Ivan Lendl stopped working with him in late 2017.

Murray is now experimenting with German Jan de Witt, who’s coached Gael Monfils, Gilles Simon and Nikoloz Basilashvili.
The 34-year-old had been working with Esteban Carrill in recent times, but the Spaniard will not join his camp for the 2022 season.
Murray is set to feature in this month’s world tennis championships in Abu Dhabi, in preparation for next year.
Murray is ranked 134th in men’s tennis and last competed on the professional circuit in November, reaching the quarter-finals of the ATP 250 in Stockholm but losing in three sets to the USA’s Tommy Paul.
He underwent career-saving hip surgery in January 2019.
