Adelaide is set to land Sydney’s Jordan Dawson after the Swans accepted the Crows’ revised trade offer.
Dawson found himself at the centre of a standoff between Adelaide and Sydney after the 24-year-old requested a move back to South Australia.
According to AFL.com.au’s Callum Twomey, the Swans have accepted Adelaide’s future first-round pick from Melbourne.
The selection is tied to Melbourne’s ladder position next year.
The trade can’t be made official until midday on Wednesday.

As revealed by The Age, Adelaide’s first offer to Sydney for Dawson was pick 17 and future pick swaps, which the Swans rejected.
The Crows do have pick four in the upcoming draft, but that selection was never put forward to the Swans.

The Swans were hopeful of keeping Dawson and signing him to a multi-year deal before a trade request was lodged last month.
Dawson finished third in the Swans’ best and fairest this season.
