Tasmania have made the decision to fly home immediately following an outbreak of COVID-19 in Brisbane, scuppering plans for both Sheffield Shield and Marsh Cup games over the coming week.
“Today’s match between Queensland and Tasmania at Ian Healy Oval, due to begin today, has been postponed,” a statement from Cricket Australia read.
“The match will be rescheduled to a new date later in the season, following the Tasmanian team’s decision to fly home today.”
