Jordan Cox is the toast of the cricket world after he helped take one of the best catches ever witnessed in a professional game.
The 20-year-old Pom was named man of the match as he steered Kent Spitfires to the T20 Blast title, beating Somerset by 25 runs in the final at Edgbaston.
Cox had hit an unbeaten 58 off 28 balls to lead his side to a total of 7-167. He whacked a stunning 14 runs off the last three balls of the innings.
Somerset was struggling in the chase when batsman Lewis Gregory skied a shot to his leg-side boundary.
The ball appeared to be sailing over the rope until Cox spectacularly leapt off the ground, grabbed it in one mitt, and somehow threw it back infield before crashing to the ground on the other side of the boundary.
His teammate Matt Milnes easily pocketed the ball Cox had kept in, dismissing Gregory in the most gobsmacking fashion.
Needless to say social media lit up in reaction to the amazing piece of cricket.
