Sydney Roosters lock Victor Radley has escaped sanction over what appeared to be a punch during his side’s semi-final against the Sea Eagles last night.
As the ball broke from a scrum in the second half, Radley appeared to throw a punch at Manly’s Sean Keppie before running back into the defensive line.
“Based on the available angles, neither the bunker review official or match review committee could not determine if a punch was involved,” a spokesman for the MRC said on Saturday morning.

Radley seemed to take issue with being held by his opposite number, and the two came together again a few minutes later, with Radley heard saying, “Don’t f–king go me, c–t,” into the microphone as referee Gerard Sutton pleaded for calmness.
The fiery lock has received praise for his physical and direct style of play, but that has often boiled over to his team’s detriment.
Radley played just 14 regular season games this year due to a combination of injuries and suspensions, and was cited five different times in 2021.

The incident further marred what was a disastrous night for the Roosters, who had their season ended in a lop-sided contest in Mackay.
Manly will now face South Sydney next Friday with a spot in the grand final on the line.
